The Sedulus team brings diverse sector and functional experience operating businesses in Western Canada. The team has over 50 years of experience in investing, operating and business leadership roles.
Mike Martin
Mike founded Sedulus to pursue succession-oriented business acquisitions in Western Canada. Mike is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) by training and he has over 20 years of experience in diverse roles spanning operations, management, and finance. Mike has been an investor, director and actively involved in building a number of large private companies headquartered in British Columbia and Alberta.
Most of Mike’s business experience has involved working with business owners transitioning ownership of their company through a management buy-out or sale to an organized private equity group.
Mike was born and raised in Langley, BC and he currently resides in Vancouver. He is married with two young children and enjoys cycling, running, and skiing with his family.
